PANDA AAC Camp is Organized by BC Association for Advancing Communications in Collaboration with the University of British Columbia Edith Lando Virtual Learning Centre

PANDA (Promoting and Advancing) AAC Camp is designed specifically for children with disabilities whose primary mode of communication is AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
Our goal is to improve AAC education, communication, and literacy. Training will be provided for students, families, and educators, and will include hands-on application for speech-generating devices. Volunteer hours credit is available.
Great opportunity for increasing the expressive communication abilities, socialisation skills, and confidence of children who use speech-generating devices.
There will be arts and crafts, special events, music, stories, digital literacy, and drama!
Campers will need a speech-generating device and provide a video of themselves using their device as part of camp application.
