Reiko Anderson
Leader of Speech-Language Services
Reiko Anderson was born in Japan and raised in Burnaby. As a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist, she works with children with communication disabilities. Reiko is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia’s School of Audiology and Speech Sciences (SASS) and has been supporting BCAAC since 2022. In her spare time, Reiko likes to sew and play Taiko drums.
Alaknanda Majumdar
Leader of Behavioural Support Services
Alaknanda Majumdar (M.A., B. Ed., M.Ed.) is a Behavioral Consultant who specializes in behavioral supports and communication needs for youth and children with disabilities. With over 20 years of experience in a variety of classroom, home, and community settings, Alaknanda incorporates an inclusive and holistic approach in her assessment, planning, and delivery of behavioral support services for families, youth, and children with disabilities.
Keith Nahanee
Indigenous Practices Advisor
Keith Nahanee from Squamish Nation is passionate in sharing his Indigenous culture, knowledge, and practices with others. He encourages healing and self-care methods that he also practices himself. Keith’s family has organized the Squamish Nation Pow Wow for the past 32 years, which includes promoting a balance of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
Orlando Ho
Youth Services Coordinator
Orlando Ho is a Peer Mentor for children and youth with disabilities. Diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, he is a kind and supportive brother to his siblings, including a sister who uses AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Orlando works hard and cares deeply for his family and community. He looks forward to studying woodworking or veterinary technology.
