Diane Gerrard

Diane’s professional career has been built upon her combined Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physiotherapy (PT) degree from UBC. Currently, as an OT, Diane is focused on maximizing the occupational performance of children, youth, and adults to support them to reach their goals at home and in their school/work and community pursuits. Diane places a high value on  everyone having the opportunity to develop and maintain their literacy to build choice, to offer them the widest experiences, and to maximize independence across their life span. Diane is honoured to have walked alongside so many in their self-determined journeys. She brings a variety of Board experience, both professionally and as a parent, to BC Association for Advancing Communications. Diane enjoys exploring the great outdoors, gardening, and creating fabric/needle work projects in her leisure time.
